Ingram Micro UK managing director Julian Klein has resigned. Klein served at the IT distributor for three years as managing director; he was managing director of Computer 2000 prior to joining Ingram Micro.
Klein will be replaced by Pablo Suarez (pictured), Ingram Micro’s current head of Miami export, which overlooks supply to Latin America. Suarez joined the distributor in 1994 and will relocate to the UK on July 1. Suarez has served several EMEA countries in previous roles at Ingram Micro.
He reports to new EMEA president Alain Marquet, who relocates to the UK also on July 1. Marquet has worked for Ingram Micro since 1993. He replaces Jay Forbes, who quit this month after almost two decades at the distributor. Suarez will, in turn, be replaced by Bruno Gradguillotte in America.
In February, commercial director Bhavesh Patel quit for 20:20, and head of software and mobility Darren Seward also left.
