Orange has delayed launch of its business tariff refresh, which is to afford customers more bundles minutes but will remove its ‘Orange Care’ insurance package.
The new tariffs were slated to launch July 1. They have been put back to August 1, according to distribution sources. Orange said only they will launch “later this summer”.
Orange’s free mobile insurance, Orange Care, will available for £6 per month instead.
As a result, dealers can receive ongoing revenue at eight per cent for the sale of each Orange Care product. Dealers have expressed disappointment the free Orange Care package will be removed as it has represented a crucial deal-sweetener when signing new business.
