Virgin Media has launched a flat-rate tariff for unlimited calls, texts and mobile internet usage, as Virgin Mobile drives its emerging contract proposition among its Virgin Media base.
The new 18-month unlimited tariff is £65 per month, and is available to customers of Virgin Media only. It includes unlimited on-network and cross-network minutes.
The deal is now available with the Nokia N86 and Samsung Jet, among ther devices.
Virgin Media director of mobile Jonathan Kini said: “The £65 per month tariff offers great value with unlimited texts, minutes and web browsing – the perfect combination for high usage customers who want the best technology available, without paying the earth.
“The addition of these fantastic handsets to the device range demonstrates our commitment to catering for every mobile customer out there.”
Virgin Mobile is looking to cross-sell its mobile offering to its digital television and broadband base, bypassing big third-party acquisition costs for contract connections.
It continues to push its prepay offer, its traditional focus, via indirect sales channels as well as its direct web and store channels.
