Orange vice president of sales and loyalty Jean-Pascal Van Overbeke (pictured) today announced that he will depart the network at the end of the month.
He is to move to an Asian operator. Further details are yet to be released.
He has been at Orange UK for the past five years, starting as vice president of marketing before moving to his current role.
It has yet to be confirmed whether recruitment for a replacement will be undertaken internally or using external candidates.
A source close to Orange said: “JP was a key part of Tom Alexander’s overall strategy so he is gutted at this news.”
