T-Mobile has launched the second incarnation of the Google Android handset, the G2 which is available from free on tariffs of £35 and above. It’s available on Combi 30 + internet which comes with unlimited internet, 700 minutes and unlimited texts or on the Flext 40 tariff priced at £40 per month on an 18-month contract. Flext 40 includes free internet and £225 worth of credit to be used on calls or text messages.
Carphone in conjunction with O2 is bundling a free Asus Eee PC laptop with the Nokia 6300 or Sony Ericsson C510. The deal is available on a 24-month contract at £25 with 500 texts, 400 minutes or 600 minutes and unlimited texts. For the more game inclined customer, Carphone is giving away a free Xbox 360 Elite worth £299.99 on a £30 18-month T-Mobile contract. The Combi deal comes with 700 minutes and unlimited texts.
While 3 still raves on about terminating the rate, it has also terminated the cost of calls through its Skype offer. It’s continuing to send the message home that customers can save money from signing up to Skype’s service and says all its handsets are now compatible. On the “Hot Deals” section of its website, 3 has a £10 SIM-only deal which comes with unlimited texts, unlimited 3-to-3 calls and 100 minutes to any network. Also available is the Nokia 6120 which has 25 per cent knocked off the line rental each month bringing the monthly cost down to £15.75.

The N96 has a 16GB memory and five megapixel camera and is also on a 24-month contract.
