Fixed-mobile convergence business Agito Networks has signed a deal with service provider Damovo UK to sell its routers.
Under the terms of agreement, the RoamAnywhere mobility router will be sold as part of Damovo’s unified communications product offerings.
The RoamAnywhere mobility router enables calls to be routed over a Wi-Fi connection while in the office to reduce the cost of mobile calls.
Agito said the partnership is part of its ambition to have 10 to 12 partnerships in the UK.
Agito Networks vice president of EMEA Paul Donovan (pictured) said: “We are very pleased to be partnering with Damovo, as it has a long heritage in the PBX market and great capabilities in delivering mobile solutions to enterprise clients.
“This partnership continues our ongoing strategy of working with a number of key partners in different territories to distribute and implement the next generation of FMC using our RoamAnywhere solution.”
Damovo UK managing director Paul Butcher said: “The current economic climate is forcing a number of organisations to re-evaluate their mobile policies and costs, which is significantly strengthening the business case for [fixed-mobile convergence].
“By partnering with Agito Networks we are now providing enterprise customers with an outstanding leading-edge FMC solution which delivers excellent returns in both in terms of pure mobile call cost savings and business efficiency improvements.”
