SpinVox director Patricia Russo has announced her departure, after only two months of working for the voice-to-text service.
Russo (pictured) was previously chief executive at Alcatel-Lucent and joined SpinVox on June 2. She exited the company on August 10.
Russo’s departure comes as SpinVox continues to defend itself against claims the majority of messages, which come through its system, are listened to by call centre staff, rather than transcribed by its technology.
SpinVox cut 60 per cent of its North American staff in July and said it aims to be profitable by the end of the year.
