Sony Ericsson has revealed a new niche, design-led handset to add to its Xperia range.
The ‘Pureness’ is the first handset to feature a transparent screen. It focuses on the basic phone functions of talking, texting and telling the time, although it does allow for emails and music.
Released in November, the handset is to be SIM-free and rumoured to be priced at around £600. The manufacturer is looking to distribute the device through non-mobile outlets; potentially department stores to attract a lifestyle-based audience.
