Orange has confirmed outages of its data network in the UK just two days after announcing it is establishing a joint venture with T-Mobile.
Network heads promised that the venture would create “the biggest and best network in the UK”, but users today reported difficulty accessing email and other internet services.
A network spokesperson said: “We are aware that some UK customers may be experiencing difficulty accessing our internet services at present. We are investigating the source of the problem as a matter of priority and would like to apologise to those affected for any inconvenience this issue may cause them.”
Mobile News understands the outage is effecting the south east region of the country in particular, although it has been reported to be affecting users country wide.
