Orange has announced a series of Monkey Hologram Gigs to take place in five shopping centres around the UK and will include hologram performances from Pixie Lott, N-Dubz and Tinchy Stryder.
The hologram tour celebrates the launch of Monkey, Orange’s new prepay tariff with 4Music, which gives customers free music and text messages when they top up by £10 each month.
The tour will begin at Lakeside Centre on September 19 and 20, with the gigs continuing for a consecutive four weekends at Birmingham’s Bullring, Sheffield’s Meadowhall, Bristol’s Cabots Circus and Manchester’s Arndale Centre.
Orange staff will be giving out free Monkey SIM cards at each venue, as well as £10 off any prepay handset over £29 for those who sign up to the tariff in the venue’s Orange store that weekend. No ticket is required to watch the hologram gigs.
Orange UK brand director Spencer McHugh said: “Monkey is our first ever prepay package that offers free music to customers and provides a whole new music experience both online and on their mobiles. The Orange Monkey Hologram Gigs are an extension of this new music experience giving audiences the chance to see some of the UK’s hottest talent in a fresh and exciting way.”
