20:20 announced a new ‘Smart Store’ programme which can hold Premier Partners’ stock in its warehouse for distribution to their customers.

The new service allows Premier Partners to order their stock from 20:20’s entire portfolio which is held at 20:20’s Crewe warehouse rather than their own site.

The service was originally exclusively for 20:20’s corporate customers such as Phones 4U.

It is available via the Premier Partner portal, where dealers can create a ‘virtual warehouse’. Stock can be delivered within 24 hours.

20:20 can also provide warehousing for stock that dealers have not purchased from the distributor.

20:20 claims the move will save dealers the cost of managing their own warehouse, which would include additional fees such as a security guard.

20:20 head of online business Andrew Beckett said: “We have invested within the team to deliver a first class solution, something we have used for our corporate partners and re-worked it for our dealers.”

Jersey Telecom procurement and logistics manager Kevin Hunt said: “The warehousing offer could be huge. Warehousing space is incredibly expensive. This could be an incredible for benefit for us.”
