Samsung has announced the launch of the Genio Qwerty, the latest addition to its youth offering, and follows the announcement of the Genio Touch.
The handset features a full QWERTY keyboard as well as quick launch buttons, designed to offer fast access to key features such as the music player and messaging. Users can customise their home screen and can therefore have instant access to the favourite social networking sites. It also comes with 8GB of expandable memory via a microSD card.
Samsung Mobile UK and Ireland vice president Mark Mitchinson said: “This latest addition to the Genio range supports our latest move to strengthen our youth offering and provide a range of products suited to different consumer lifestyles.
“We want to ensure there is something for everyone, from the colour and connectivity of the device to the features and functionality available. The Genio Qwerty offers those who prefer a keyboard rather than a touch screen the opportunity to have the great looks and features that come with the Genio range.”
The Samsung Genio Qwerty will go on sale from early October in the UK, available first from Orange in yellow.
