PC manufacturer Dell has struck a partnership with music download service Napster.
Selected Dell Studio and Inspiron models are to ship to the UK, Germany and the US with a one-year subscription to Napster.
The subscription is worth around £30. It includes 60 MP3s of the consumer’s choice plus 12 months of unlimited on-demand music from a catalogue of more than eight million songs.
Dell general manager for strategic consumer partnerships Rachna Basin said: “Dell is now making it easier than ever for customers to enjoy their favourite music by downloading MP3s of their choice, as well as discover new music with streaming from Napster’s vast music collection.”
Napster president Brad Duea added: “Napster is pleased to be working with Dell to deliver a valuable and easy music experience for customers.”
