T-Mobile gets B2B marketing head

T-Mobile UK has recruited a new head of business marketing to increase its business market share.

Max Taylor will join T-Mobile at the end of October, working with the newly-appointed head of business sales Neil Pickersgill.

Taylor previously worked at Vodafone where he was tasked with heading up the global business marketing team. Prior, he was segment director for mobile at Dolby in North America, where he led the business sales and marketing strategy.

Taylor (pictured) also spent five years at Orange in senior roles, including head of 3G and convergence marketing and head of SME proposition development as well as holding a marketing position for Verizon.

T-Mobile UK chief marketing officer Srini Gopalan said: “I’m delighted that Max is joining the marketing leadership team. He brings strong management, segment proposition development and commercial operations experience to T-Mobile.

“Max joins us at a point in time when we are gearing up our efforts to offer greater value to the business community. Only last month, we launched Business Unlimited, the only business tariff to give users unlimited UK calls and texts for £30 a month.”
