Daisy debuts FMC proposition

B2B specialist Daisy Communications has launched a fixed mobile convergence product for the SME market.

Wire 3, which was developed by Openaire and sold exclusively through Daisy, provides SME businesses with a private network that can be connected to a mobile, IP telephone, softphone or deskphone.

The private network is routed through a base station which is installed in the office and attached to an internet connection. Calls are connected through the least-cost route (VoIP or private mobile network) and can also be routed to a phone when out of the office.

Daisy product and marketing director Stuart Cordingley said: “We are seeing the SME sector as a driving force behind the uptake of converged solutions as businesses become increasingly aware of the commercial benefits open to them by implementing new technologies.

“By utilising VoIP technology, Wire 3 allows company calls to be routed via the most cost effective course, enabling customers to reduce their monthly call charges.

“We provide communications to the SME and mid-market business community, utilising technology that actually assists businesses, whether they are in or out of the office.

“We have convergence at the heart of our strategy and this means we will be focussing on unifying voice, data and mobile products. The challenge, and opportunity, is to simplify these types of products, such as Wire 3, so they can be adopted by the SME and mid-market business customer.”

Packages range from £11.99 to £18.99 per month.
