Newark-based service provider has been ranked seventh in the UK’s Deloitte Technology Fast 50; its first entrance to the prestigious list as companies must have been operating for five years to be eligible.
The news follows Timico’s 23rd rank in the Sunday Times Microsoft Tech Track 100 index, released in September.
Timico chief executive Chris Tombs (pictured) said: “Timico has successfully implemented significant network solutions for a number of key customers in the last 12 months. With our range of flexible solutions, our passion to deliver exceptional customer service supported by expert and highly-skilled service implementation, technical support and engineering teams, we are able to provide more capability at lower cost and with a stronger service wrap than many other UK network providers, which is proving ideal in the current economic climate.”
Timico chairman Tim Radford added: “I’m extremely proud of what we have achieved as a team. With more and more people now using the internet and businesses having an increasing need for more capacity, I believe the addition of our midlands data centre in Newark next year will allow us to increase our core capacity and provide more co-location and hosted services, as well as a variety of other cloud based services to our customers. By continuing to go the extra mile for our customers in terms of solutions and services we offer, we look forward to achieving another year of significant growth in 2010.”
