Avenir Telecom is to hold a Dragons Den style event this month for dealers to submit ideas on ways to win business.
The ‘Deal Clinic’, in partnership with O2, will be held at Arsenal football club’s Emirates Stadium in North London. It will be attended by up to 20 selected Avenir dealers, all being dominant O2 connectors.
Each dealer will be given up to five minutes to pitch an idea on how their business can generate more sales and opportunities.
Avenir managing director Andy Tow (pictured) is expected to appear on the judging panel as well as two members from the O2 Business team. At the end of each pitch judges will question the dealer and decide whether or not to invest in their ideas.
The interviewing will take place in the locker room section of the stadium in a bid to recreate the set of the BBC2 show. Dealers will wait in the Arsenal players’ lounge before being called in to meet the judges.
Said Tow: “Dealers must come prepared. It can be about asking for additional support, financial help, additional training, or the need for additional support to obtain a deal.
“If we get 20 fantastic ideas that all make commercial sense then in theory we will support them all.
“We will have a look at the opportunity, assess its merits, see where we can provide the support and any ideas ourselves to help and then together see if we can get the deal closed. “
