Manchester-based B2B telecoms reseller GTEQ Solutions has launched its own B2B MVNO.

GTEQ has launched a reseller programme for its new SIM proposition. It has around 50 resellers, and is to reach 80 within the next few months – 40 from the fixed line market and 40 from mobile.

It has a target to connect 20,000 customers to its MVNO within 18 months, and to grow its reseller base to 250 within two years.

The GTEQ SIM can be attached to multiple numbers, such as a standard UK mobile number, a UK landline number, an 08 number or a foreign number.

GTEQ said its unique selling point was the ability to offer call and text message recording, as well as the ability to receive a fax as email. The offering could be sold as part of a unified communications package, with white-label opportunities for third parties.

The SIM is sold as a flat-rate tariff with three price points. For £10 per month per user, 100 users can make UK calls at 5p per minute, and calls to Europe and the US for 8p per minute. For £12.50, 50 users can make UK calls at 7p per minute, while calls to Europe and the US are 10p per minute. Single users can also sign up for £15 per month, with UK call rates 8p per minute and Europe and US call rates 10p per minute.

Unlimited data is an extra £3 per month for all users.

Resellers are entitled to a share of profits generated depending on the volume they generate. Band one resellers who generate up to £50,000 monthly revenue, receive 50 per cent of the profits.

Band two resellers who generate from £50,000 to £100,000 monthly revenue receive 60 per cent of the profits. Band three, generating from £100,000 to £250,000 monthly revenue earns resellers 75 per cent of the profits. Those who bring in more than £250,000 each month will receive 90 per cent of the profits.

GTEQ managing director Karl McCaffrey said: “We are a solutions company but we want to attract mobile dealers who want to add something extra to their kit bag.

“We seized the opportunity to use the SIM product to increase our own brand, or allow larger resellers to rebrand the SIM.”

GTEQ sells VoIP, broadband, and airtime from O2, Vodafone and T-Mobile.

Toni & Guy, Ticketmaster, Macclesfield Town FC, Cartridge World and Goodyear are among its 1,600 B2B clients. It has an annual turnover of £3.1 million.
