Virgin Media has upgraded its mobile broadband product portfolio by launching a 7.2Mbps USB modem.

The new USB modem is offered on a range of contracts and data limits. Users can sign up for either a one-month rolling contract or an 18-month contract and choose from 1GB to 3GB of data each month.

Virgin Media executive director of mobile Graeme Oxby said: “We’re thrilled to be offering this faster mobile broadband to our users. If you’re not at home or near a wireless connection, mobile broadband is the best way of staying connected on the move and we’re delighted to be making this a speedier, more pleasant experience for our customers.”
