Virgin Media has announced the addition of the BlackBerry Curve 8520, the first BlackBerry smartphone to be ranged from Virgin in the UK.
The Curve 8520 is available from £20 a month up to £35 a month on a 24-month contract. It’s also available from £25 a month up to £40 a month on an 18-month contract. All tariffs come with unlimited mobile internet and unlimited email access to up to 10 supported email accounts. Existing Virgin Media customers will receive additional unlimited calls to other Virgin Media mobiles when taking up this offer.
Virgin Media’s executive director of mobile Graeme Oxby, said: “We are delighted to bring the popular BlackBerry brand to our ever-growing handset portfolio and believe it will be a big hit with our youthful audience. With our range of competitive tariffs, we aim to provide customers with the perfect tool for keeping in touch with their family and friends while on the go.”

The Curve 8520 comes with a full QWERTY keyboard and touch-sensitive trackpad, as well as a 2-megapixel camera with video recording. Other features include Wi-Fi and dedicated media keys.
