Barclay tops O2’s partner table

Barclay Communications has become O2’s “top” independent partner after topping its Centre of Excellence league table.

Belfast based B2B dealer Barclay, which is an exclusive connector of O2 products and services, has been named O2’s “top partner”, topping its  CoE success charts based on voice, data, customer services, bolt on add-ons, ARPU and churn.

Barclay also revealed connections of the Apple iPhone on O2 topped its handset sales charts last quarter, ourtselling BlackBerry and Nokia for the first time.

O2 head of partnerships Maggie Kennedy said: “Barclay Communications is a Centre of Excellence partner which leads in voice, data and customer service. Its business ethos is the same as that of O2, in turning customers into fans and this is evident throughout the account.”

Barclay director of B2B Adrian McCourt said: “Over the last year we have really upped our commitment and investment in the O2 brand.

“Our team has expanded, and we have created more specialist customer service departments for our clients. This result is a real credit to our teams’ hard work, and our new clients trust in our reputable service.”
 
Barclay has been connecting O2 since 2004, and become an exclusive partner in May this year. It signed a landmark landmark deal to manage all O2 directly acquired Northern Ireland SME clients.
