XLN Telecom gets first mobile deal

XLN Telecom has partnered with Gamma Telecom to offer mobile services  ahead of its own MVNO launch next year.

The London-based B2B fixed line provider XLN has entered the mobile market after partnering with Gamma using the 3 network and is now actively approaching its 125,000 customer base offering a number of mobile voice and data packages.

Packages include an exclusive XLN SIM-Only tariff offering a flat-fee anytime calling plan costing 5p per minute, with texts also charged at 5p. Customers will not be charged a line rental, but there is a minimum monthly spend of £5 required.

Other SIM-Only voice packages include ‘Mobile 400’ which includes 400 minutes or texts for £7.99 per month and ‘Mobile 600’, which includes 600 minutes or texts for £13.99 per month.

Monthly packages also include free calls to other XLN connected mobile and fixed line numbers on the same account.

In addition, XLN is also offering three separate mobile broadband deals starting from £3.99 per month for a 250MB monthly allowance, £5.99 for 500MB and £7.99 for 1GB. A broadband dongle will cost £38.

Customer can either choose to use their own existing 3G device or purchase one from a limited selection on sale through XLN.

XLN Telecom group CEO Christian Nellemann (pictured) said: “We are delighted to offer best value mobile phone services to complement those we already provide for landline calls and broadband.

“For too long SMEs have been forced to pay over the top for mobile services they just do not need or particularly want. By designing mobile tariffs based around what our business land-line customers say they actually need, we are now able to completely shake-up the market in this sector.”
