O2 is to extend its ‘Joined Up’ proposition to consumer customers from January.
Mobile News understands O2 will launch its first fixed line proposition through its consumer channels in Q1, as it looks to gain traction in the fixed line market
O2 recently told partners at an event in Spain that it aims to compete with market leaders BT and Cable & Wireless for fixed line subscriptions by the end of next year.
The new O2 proposition sees the company expand to sell mobile voice, and broadband, and fixed voice broadband and voice, with customers able to sign for all on a single bill.
Pricing is not confirmed, but is expected to cost £10 per month line rental plus optional add-on packages, as with its B2B offering.
Discounts on line rentals are also expected to apply to existing O2 customers.
O2 has said previously that offering a full communications portfolio will help with customer retention, with customers less likely to switch providers as all services are tied together.
