Network services integrator Convergence Group is expanding its operations and team thanks to business wins worth over £4 million.
Four new clients from a range of industry sectors including building and manufacturing have joined the company’s customer base. This has resulted in six new members of staff being added to its team, bringing its staff numbers to 46.
Four new members will be joining the technical and engineering team, meaning customers will now benefit from three new service desk engineers, as well as a provisioning engineer. Emma Sudworth comes in as HR manager while Liz Miles has joined as a design and infrastructure team leader, bringing over ten years’ experience in this field providing clients with a strategic insight and advice on cost-effective solutions.
The Birmingham-based company has also launched a new network infrastructure – Inter-connect – offering customers a wide rang of national and international supply chains comprising of ‘Tier 1’ carriers. This follows investment of £750,000 in the recent opening of the company’s new Network Operations Centre, designed to monitor, manage, identify and resolve any encountered network irregularity for its customers. The site is equipped with sophisticated network management, monitoring and analysis tools and provides a comprehensive view of all network traffic and activities around the world.
