VoIP provider Truphone has launched an update of its Android application which is compatible with the HTC G1, HTC Magic and HTC Hero devices.
The Truphone for Android 3.0 application enables customers using Truphone, Google Talk and Skype accounts to make cheaper calls by using Wi-Fi access.
The free application also integrates instant messaging support for Skype, GoogleTalk, AIM, Yahoo! and MSN.
The application will be made available to other Android devices with firmware 1.5 or above, including the Motorola Droid and the Google Nexus One.
