Virgin Media has struck a UK partnership with HTC in a move that will see the HTC HD2 added to its range.
The HD2 is the first branded phone from the Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer to be made available through Virgin Media, and marks the start of an expanding range of high-end handsets. It is available for free on a £30 a month, 24-month contract.
The HD2 comes, which runs off the Windows Mobile 6.5 operating system, comes with HTC Sense, HTC Sense interface, which works a user’s particular social networking and communications services into a customisable homescreen.
It comes with a 4.3-inch touchscreen, 1GHZ processor and built-in GPS, Wi-Fi and FM radio. It also has YouTube, Facebook and Twitter integration and a microSD slot for expandable memory, as well as a standard 3.5mm headphone jack and Bluetooth.
