Outsourcery has launched a new unified communications proposition, Office Communicator (OC), integrating Microsoft presence and web conferencing on a mobile phone.
OC is pitched at the SME market. Outsourcery said resellers can increase customer ARPU by adding the proposition to their portfolio.
OC combines presence and Live Meeting web conferencing. Presence works with an Outlook calendar and allows staff to check colleagues’ diary in order to locate where they are. Computers can also be monitored for activity to determine whether a staffer is at their desk.
Live Meeting is a web conferencing tool allowing instant messaging, audio, video, slide presentations and application sharing.
Outsourcery product strategy and development director Mark Seemann said: “With large numbers of employees now working away from the office, businesses are finding that they need more effective ways to stay in touch with their colleagues and clients. Office Communicator lets businesses of any size communicate and collaborate more efficiently.
“Being able to connect with your colleagues whenever and wherever they are will mean an increase in productivity company-wide.”
