Avenir Telecom is offering dealers a £50 bonus for every connection to O2’s Joined Up fixed line service through January. The deal is likely to be extended through February, Mobile News understands.
Dealers must connect customers to either a 24-month or 36-month term. Avenir is to pay dealers weekly for Joined Up connections during the period, also. The bonus payment does not affect the seven per cent ongoing revenue dealers receive for Joined Up sales each month.
The incentive follows the £300 bonus Avenir offered partners for signing 10 customers to Joined Up during November and December.
Avenir, an O2 Centre of Excellence and O2 Advanced partner, was recently named O2’s ‘partner of the year’, outselling all its rivals for Joined Up connections in 2009.
Avenir UK managing director Andy Tow (pictured) said: “It is fantastic recognition of the strong team spirit we have at Avenir. One of our objectives for 2009 was to bring operators, dealers and customers together as a cohesive team, and clearly this is paying dividends.”
O2 head of SME sales David Plumb added: “Avenir and O2 share many values, and this has contributed to Avenir’s tremendous results this year. Top of this list, as always, is putting the customer first and delivering solutions with tangible business benefits.”
