Azzurri Communications has become an O2 strategic partner. It will help to deliver services to customers as part of O2’s Centre of Excellence programme.
The partnership will see Azzurri customers benefit from additional resources, support and access to the latest propositions, such as the Apple iPhone, Palm Pre and BlackBerry smartphones.
As part of the agreement, Azzurri will manage a base of directly acquired O2 customers and Azzurri’s and O2’s corporate sales team will become more closely aligned. The managed service provider will be commiting its mobile focus almost entirely to the network and look to sell Vodafone, Orange and T-Mobile through its distributuion channels. It declined to say which distributors it would be using.
O2 business sales director Ben Dowd (pictured) said: “Azzurri has already demonstrated its capability by securing the largest corporate win ever within the partner channel and we look forward to winning more in this space.
