Fone Logs unveils 2010 promos

Handset and airtime distributor Fone Logistics has launched a number of seasonal promotions and incentives to boost airtime connections.

Fone Logistics offered a number of “money-can’t-buy” promotions and incentives in 2009 including an O2 skiing holiday for its 10 top performing O2 connectors, which it said saw sales jump 33 per cent on O2.

The distributor has again launched an incentive on O2 connections, offering its top 10 performers two VIP box tickets each to see rock band Bon Jovi at the O2 Arena later this year.
 
This month, as part of its ‘January sale’ promotion, dealers are receiving special discount offers when purchasing selected stock including a BlackBerry 8310 on O2 for £155 and a Nokia 5800 on 3 for £186.

Dealers are also being offered a buy-five-get-one-free deal on 3 mobile broadband starter kits.

Fone Logistics marketing director Julien Parven (pictured) said: “Last year our most successful promotion was ‘On the Piste’, which saw a percentage increase of 33 per cent on O2 connections and meaning we will be taking 10 dealers to a luxury ski resort in the French Alps.
 
“We want to build on this in 2010 and have invested a lot of time and money into coming up with some really original ideas, which will hopefully ensure we are known as the most rewarding distributor among the dealer network and a company they really want to align themselves with.
 
“We aim to significantly increase connections across all networks and, more importantly, deliver value back to our dealers.”

In addition, Fone Logistics has launched an internal World Cup themed incentive for its sales team until June. Staff will score points based on KPI ‘targets’ and ‘goals.’

The top four will enter a play off, with the winner receiving an all expenses paid holiday, with runners up receiving a cash prize.

Parven added: “The internal sales staff incentive is designed to create some friendly competition against each of our sales departments as well as building camaraderie and making the sales floor an exciting place to work.
 
“As part of our marketing plans for 2010 we want Fone Logistics to become an employer of choice and this is the first in a long line of internal staff activities we have planned.”
