Service provider Outsourcery wants to be the number one unified communications reseller in Europe within two years, it told Mobile News.
Outsourcery product strategy and development director Mark Seemann said it will achieve this target by working more closely with the indirect channel.
It currently works with 60 channel partners and received 40 per cent of its sales through dealers and resellers in 2009. It aims to recruit another 40 by the end of the year, and to bring online more mobile dealers. It wants 60 per cent of sales through the indirect channel.
Outsourcery has launched a mobile application for its Microsoft Office Communicator product, allowing users to view employees’ presence status and interact with them via instant message, voice and video.
It will be priced at £7 per month. Outsourcery will launch another version which will include more services in March.
End users will be able to download a free trial of both versions.
Seemann said: “Every product from now on is going through the channel because for us to achieve our aim, we must work closely with indirect partners.
“The Office Communicator application is ideal for SMEs and is compatible with the iPhone, BlackBerrys, Windows and Nokia phones. An Android version will be coming soon.”
