Abica signs up first MVNO client


B2B provider Abica has signed its first dealer customer to take its white-label MVNO SIM-only offer.

SIM cards and bills will have the dealer’s brand, and read “powered by Abica”.

Abica will manage technical support for the end users, among other pieces.

Abica will have access to the unnamed dealer’s 1,000-strong base. It will look to sell its other products into the base also.

Abica said it will provide its white-label MVNO service to up to 100 dealers in the next three years.

Abica runs its MVNO offer via a wholesale deal with Gamma Telecom, which itself piggy backs on the 3 network in the UK. Abica said it is to pitch the service to mobile dealers looking to strengthen their brand as well as to non-mobile dealers wanting to sell on mobile products for the first time.


Abica director and co-founder David Munro (pictured) said: “This type of service is new to us and we’re very excited to be able to offer an own-brand product for dealers to strengthen their brand name.


“It also gives the dealer the opportunity to sell its existing customers our non-mobile services, enabling them to offer end users a wider range of products.”
