GK Telecom has signed a deal to supply T-Mobile airtime. It becomes the distributor’s second airtime deal following an agreement to supply 3 airtime last year.
The company, which specialises in the distribution of SIM cards, has had a relationship with T-Mobile since 2007 and will look to pick up business missed by the operator’s current airtime distributors, HSC and Anglia Telecom Systems.
GK Telecom director Gummy Dulku said: “If you compare T-Mobile to other networks, it doesn’t have a heavy distribution presence and saw us as the ideal partner to pick up business not served by HSC and Anglia.
“Therefore we’ll look to target dealers that do very little or no T-Mobile at all. The networks want incremental business so we’re in an ideal position to add that.”
