T-Mobile’s Blockbuster ‘Night In’

T-Mobile has partnered with entertainment rental company Blockbuster to offer its customers exclusive deals as part of a new loyalty proposition.

T-Mobile announced today it has agreed a deal with Blockbuster to offer its customers two rental movies, games, snacks and drink for £5, as part of its new ‘Night In’ offer.

T-Mobile said more partnerships will be announced next month.

From next week, customers can take a combination of either two videos, two games, or a combination of both, for two nights, as well as receive two snacks and one soft drink.

T-Mobile customers can opt in by texting ‘Night In’ to a short-code which will be announced next week. They will receive a code via SMS, which they must present to the cashier in a Blockbuster store to redeem the offer. It is available Monday to Thursday only, and only once a week.

T-Mobile Lysa Hardy head of brand and communications Lysa Hardy said: “Customers tell us that more than anything else, they love spending time with family and friends. And with the ongoing trend of staying in rather than going out, Night In is our way of saying thank you to them for their loyalty.

“This Night In offer with Blockbuster is a great value deal that gives our customers everything they need for a perfect night in, and is a great excuse for people to pile in front of the TV and enjoy the latest movie release or computer game.”
 
Blockbuster head of marketing Bryn Owen said: “We’re thrilled to be launching this offer with T-Mobile. We’ve got thousands of titles in store including loads of classic movies and games and all the best new releases, including the forthcoming release of the fantastic Avatar, so there really is something to suit the whole family.”
