LG will release its latest Android-based device, the Optimus, in the UK with O2 on May 1.
The SN Manager offers integrated access to social networking sites so users can manage multiple accounts. LG’s dedicated Social Networking Client allows users to keep track of all their social networks while the Social Networking System widgets provide real-time status updates directly to the home screen. Users can also view updates from friends and access their social media sites while simultaneously searching the phone’s contact list.
The Optimus can be customised to show between three and seven home screens displaying items such as frequently used applications, news and weather. The main menu can be personalised to include up to 10 editable categories.
Other features include a media player to watch DivX and Xvid videos, 3D thumnail gallery, three-megapixel camera with geotagging, video editor, A-GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack and 32GB of expandable memory with a microSD card.
