Barclay tops O2’s Excellence table

Barclay Communications has been named O2’s ‘top partner’ and has extended its agreement as a Centre of Excellence partner for three more years.

The Belfast based B2B telecom  won the awarded after topping O2’s COE performance league in Q1 beating 16 other dealers.

O2’s COE league is measured on the quality and volume of connection sales as well as levels of churn.

It is the second time it has claimed the award in six months after topping the league table in November also.

Barclay Communications managing director Britt Megahey also confirmed the business has extended its commitment and exclusivity with O2 for a further three years.

Megahey said: “We have achieved great results as an O2 Centre of Excellence Partner. Since we began working with O2 our business has rapidly expanded and we are now able to offer more services to our clients, including landlines, web design, fleet management, IT Services and email marketing.

“We could not have done this without the support O2 gave us to grow our mobile business and customer base.”

O2 head of partnerships Maggie Kennedy added: “Barclay Communications once again achieve the number one slot and this is testament to their continued focus on delivering world class service to our customers. 

“The partner continues to move with the times investing heavily in a dedicated account management team to support our Northern Ireland customer base and this is paying dividends. Given the competition, this is yet another great achievement.”
