Outsourcery has appointed former Yes Telecom sales and marketing director Simon Howitt to head up its indirect channel programme. Howitt is responsible for the newly created Outsourcery Channel Business Unit and will lead the company’s push into the indirect sector.
The company said it has identified the indirect channel as a significant growth area and is looking to establish a cleat unique selling proposition in the market through the support it offers to partners, deealers and resellers.
Historically, Outsourcery’s Channel Business has been wholly focussed on mobile provision. It said it’s planning to increase focus on supporting partners in providing business mobile, hosted IT and unified communications services to customers and allowing them to expand their current offering to customers whilst increasing their customers’ loyalty.
Outsourcery joint CEO Pires Linney said: “Having invested significantly in our data centre and developed our hosted services to compliment our mobile solutions, we have the most complete product set for our partners. The channel offers us the perfect reach and will become our most valuable route to market.”
