LG is to release its Town GT350 in the UK on July 1. It is the first in the handset manufacturer’s Town Series, which puts focus on social networking services (SNS).
The slide-out QWERTY keypad-equipped messaging phone is optimised for social networking, with a live social networking feed appearing on the phone’s three-inch WQVA touchscreen to enable users to enjoy real-time interaction with friends.
Other features include a two-megapixel camera, where photos can be uploaded to multiple networks or shared through MMS or email, and Wi-Fi. It will be available in black, silver, blue and purple, with pricing and network availability announced nearer to launch.
LG president and CEO Dr. Skott Ahn said: “The LG Town Series is the result of our effort to provide consumers with an exciting on-the-go social networking experience with better connectivity and easier access to people who matter the most to them.”
