Orange has announced two partnerships with specialist security providers Becrypt and Barron McCann in a move it said offers a broader range of solutions to customers matching their specific network security needs.
Becrypt is a software encryption specialist that focusing on securing data at rest. This means if a laptop is lost, the data will be entirely encrypted and make it very difficult to access by anyone but the owner.
Barron McCann is a data encryption specialist who sercurely convert data as it travels from one place to another so that it cannot be theatened by unauthosied access while in transit.
Orange is also boosting the availability of its Managed VPN systems by increasing the range of connectivity and back-up options for customers. Managed VPN offers secure, high speed access to business services remotely on a business device.
A new billing option for the Managed VPN solution is being launched, which Orange said would increase flexibility and ensure that secure VPN access is available to the widest range of businesses. It added that this would allow its customers to pay for their secure network access in the way that suits them best; either upfront in a single payment or in monthly instalments.
