Vodafone is to launch a reward scheme for its customers through a series of multi-year sponsorship deals.
Vodafone’s new VIP scheme is open to both Vodafone consumer and enterprise customers, and will give access to a number of events across the UK over the year.
Vodafone has taken title sponsorship of the London Fashion Weekend in September, official sponsor status of London Fashion Week and has announced a new partnership package with Live Nation for 2010 music festivals.
It also has access to the McLaren Technology Centre and the 2010 Formula One (F1) British Grand Prix through its existing title partner status with the McLaren Mercedes racing team.
Through the London Fashion Weekend sponsorship package Vodafone customers will get 48-hour advanced access to tickets plus the chance to win tickets to shows and previews.
Vodafone customers can then win tickets to music festivals throughout summer 2010 including Leeds, Reading, Wireless and T in the Park. Later in the year, customers will be able to buy tickets 48 hours in advance of them going on general release when booking opens for the 2011 season.
Customers who follow F1 can win a tour of the McLaren Technology Centre, as well as tickets to Silverstone in July to watch the British Grand Prix.
Vodafone UK chief executive officer Guy Laurence (pictured) said: “We’re giving all our customers the chance to be at some of Britain’s best events in fashion, festivals and F1.
“We wanted a simple rewards scheme for all our customers that was much more than music and much wider than just London-based events.”
