The Word has appointed Paul Nocivelli as business development manager to drive forward the company’s new fixed line division. His appointment follows that of Nick Williams as head of fixed line in March and Lloyd Bowden as head of systems last month.

Nocivelli spent 15 years at BT as corporate sales manager for Wales where he managed and developed accounts for the company’s corporate division, brining in large business accounts worth up to £1 million.

He will now be responsible for brining in new business for The Word as well as developing and building relationships with customers receiving fixed and converged voice solutions.

Nocivelli said: “My knowledge of business communications and the skills that I developed during my time at BT will stand me in good stead to grow the new division to its full potential. I will be working with SMEs across south Wales to provide bespoke communications solutions to help them achieve maximum productivity and revolutionise their telecoms services.”

The Word managing director Huw Stiley said: “Paul’s appointment is integral in developing and growing the new fixed line division for The Word. His sound knowledge and expertise will play a big part in forming new relationships while building on our existing customer’s communications.”
