Service provider secures two-year deal for entire DSGi mobile spend
DSG International (DSGi) has committed its mobile spend and management of over 4,500 mobile devices to managed service provider Azzurri Communications.
The two-year contract sees Azzurri Communications provide handsets, support and mobility services to DSGi teams. DSGi will also use Azzurri Communications’ ARM (Azzurri Resource Manager) portal to gain full control of its mobile spend.
Azzurri Communications won the contract after monitoring and managing DSGi’s mobile spend as part of an ongoing consultancy on the existing account. Azzurri Communications implemented and managed DSGi’s Wide Area Network (WAN), which convinced it to move its entire mobile estate for Azzurri Communications to oversee.
Azzurri Communications said the managed service model it uses continuously evaluates and adjusts the service to ensure DSGi benefits from the best tariffs and products in the market place, helping to drive down both capital and operational expenditure year-on-year.
Azzurri Communications sales and marketing director Jason Standerwick (pictured) said: “Azzurri has a very strong market proposition for retailers. Our ability to implement and manage complex retail networks is a strength in itself, but when this is overlaid with our skills in service application delivery and in mobility management, it becomes a very compelling model.”
DSGi network manager Brian Foley said: “As we look to operate the business better, easier and cheaper, Azzurri has stretched the horizon of where we thought we could go in this field. It has adapted its products and processes to help meet our needs. That’s why I’m confident its mobility division can also provide us with a flexible and cost-effective managed service.”
