Lycamobile will be the main sponsor of the Lewisham People’s Day 2010. It takes place tomorrow (July 10) at Mountsfield Park and is a free community festival that attracts over 30,000 revellers each year.
The festival, which runs from 12 to 8pm, is in its 26th year. It host a line up of over a thousand performers on eight themed stages showcasing theatre, music, magic, art, sport, dance, spoken word and cabaret. “Home-grown talent” s the theme for this year offering visitors the chance to see and hear a mix of local performers.
Visitors will also be able to visit food and community stalls, as well as a children’s fun fair and craft market. Lycamobile’s Globeman will also be present for photo opportunities with the Lycamobile team giving away a range of gifts throughout the day.
