  1. We chose a quad play because it was the best deal available, nothing to do with being particularly keen on Virgin, but rather less keen on the alternative. It stopped us churning to rivals for tv, phone & broadband so it clearly is working.

  2. I also live in your area and have no issues at all, im in the 20meg service and often get 19+ meg and 17-19 at peek times. I have no issues with their service at all. However I do not join mobile as lack of high end handsets and coverage issues here.

I also think Virgin post their speed tests on their website and I believe they are the only operator to do this. The results are very impressive. Maybe it is your computer, but who knows? I'm no expert.

  4. How about trying to get the 10Mbps service working properly first Mr Birkett? We are in the St Judes area of Plymouth – much of the time we are luck if we get 1Mbps. Your support staff are useless, on one ocaision telling us we need to take our computer to a conputer store to have windows reloaded ! Idiots. Virgin sucks, but then you already know that since Virgin have registered the "Virgin Sucks" domain name. Anyone thinking of jpoining Virgin should really get something in writting about the sort of speed they will get so they can sue Virgin when they find out just how crap the sevice really is.
