Apple puts back releasing the white iPhone 4 until later this year, stating that it is more challenging to manufacture than originally expected
Apple has postponed the release of a white variant of the iPhone 4 until later this year.
Apple chief executive Steve Jobs had said the white iPhone 4 would be made available at the end of this month but that has now been pushed back to an unspecified date later this year.
In a statement Apple said: “White models of Apple’s new iPhone 4 have continued to be more challenging to manufacture than we originally expected, and as a result they will not be available until later this year. The availability of the more popular iPhone 4 black models is not affected.”
