Three has signed two “major” business deals which it claims could net it more than 100,000 business connections
Three said it has signed a three-year partnership with the institute of chartered accountants for England and Wales (ICAEW), which will see its 100,000 members offered discounts on line rentals.
Eighty per cent of its members operate in the SME arena.
Three said it beat O2 to clinch the deal, and will be speaking to its ICAEW members at various conferences, events local and national media advertising over the next 12 months in a bid to win business.
Three head of business Paul Foley said: “The profile of the ICAEW and its member base mirrors a sector of the market we are keen to get take up in.
“We understand the needs of this community and we have a dedicated team of Business Customer Service advisors on hand in Glasgow to handle any questions or queries that the membership may raise.”
In addition, Three has also signed a deal with the Prince’s Trust to offer entrepreneurs a bespoke two year business package.
Three said the package will offer a reduction in line rental costs and will include 2GB of data allowance.
The offer is available to anyone who has received start-up support from the trust, which helps young and disadvantaged people set up new businesses.
“At a time when start-ups need more support than ever to get their business off the ground, it is very rewarding to help these young entrepreneurs,” said Foley.
