Wireless Logic to invest over £1 million in SIM monitoring system SIMPro over next 18 months
M2M connectivity specialist Wireless Logic is to invest more than £1 million upgrading its European SIM card management and monitoring system SIMPro over the next 18 months.
SIMPro was introduced by Wireless Logic in 2007 and is used by 400 of the 600 systems integrators working with Wireless Logic across Europe. Wireless Logic said SIMPro allows a ‘one window’ view of an entire SIM estate across multiple mobile networks through a single platform.
The investment will see SIMPro offer new services to systems integrators such as real-time data visual display, data mining, disaster recovery and a platform for developing Android, Windows Live and Samsung Bada applications to run alongside existing systems. Some of these new services could be available as soon as next month, Wireless Logic said.
Wireless Logic co-founder and sales director Phil Cole (pictured) said the new-look SIMPro will provide systems integrators with a means to better manage and monitor their SIM estate.
Cole said: “Many systems integrators managing M2M projects with multiple network partners find it difficult to manage their estate of SIMs, especially as the numbers increase.
“Many redundant connections remain active and can prove costly over time. Performance is also an issue – the quicker a problem is identified, the quicker it can be rectified.”
