Delayed O2 service to debut in October

‘International Favourites’ to launch towards the end of next month having originally been planned for launch last month

O2 is to launch its ‘International Favourites’ bolt-on tariff, originally slated for August, towards the end of October.  The tariff will allow O2 business customers to purchase a number of optional bolt-on packages to call selected countries from the UK with no extra charge.

O2 will launch two bolt-on deals (at £8.51 per month for three international landline  numbers and £17.02 for up to five international mobile or landline numbers). Each will be assigned on a per-mobile basis and not per account.

Customers will be given up to 3,000 minutes to their selected international landline numbers per month. The second package will also allow up to 200 minutes to selected international mobiles each month. Customers will receive a “whisper” warning when they approach their monthly limit.

O2 customers can also set up one ‘Call Me’ number, allowing contacts in a chosen country to call their UK mobile at their local rates.

Customers can choose between 25 EU countries and 36 ‘rest of the world’ countries.
