Apple will start selling the iPhone 4 in China at the weekend, available through its own retail stores and China Unicom.
The iPhone 4 will be sold in China through Apple’s retail stores SIM-free for CNY4,999 (£477) for the 16GB model and CNY5,999 (£572) for the 32GB model. China Unicom will market the iPhone 4 on a two-year contract with an upfront charge.
Customers who buy an iPhone 4 at an Apple retail store will receive a free personal set-up service to customise the device with their email, favourite apps and other tips. Apple retail stores will also host special workshops throughout the day to help customers learn more about the iPhone 4.
