Mobile features highly in latest Tech Track 100 league table with Shebang ranked in top 10 and seven other UC players named in the list
Shebang, Timico, Wireless Logic, QiComm, Mobica, Elite Telecom, Focus 4 U and Worldwide Group were all listed in the 2010 Tech Track 100 league table published yesterday (September 19).
Published in the Sunday Times, the Tech Track 100 league table ranks Britain’s 100 private technology companies with the fastest growing sales over the latest three years of available accounts.
Distributor Shebang was ranked 7th in the list with sales growth of 136.58 per cent each year between 2006 and 2009, when sales topped £60 million. Shebang offers it Sellfone EPOS system. It has recently walked away from its £20 million supply contract with Tesco and picked up the deal to underpin Asda’s in-store mobile phone shops through its Sellfone SpeedPoint EPOS system.
M2M connectivity specialist Wireless Logic was ranked 25th with sales growth of 77.61 per cent a year between 2007 and 2010 as sales grew from £1.5 million to £8.2 million.
Unified communications supplier Timico was ranked 58th with sales growth of 49.01 per cent a year between 2006 and 2009.
Other notably inclusions are mobile application design firm Mobica (33) and business telecom services companies QiComm (28), Elite Telecom (74), Focus 4 U (75) and Worldwide Group (84).
